What is Enlightenment and Spiritual Awakening?
The terms Spiritual Awakening and Enlightenment are almost identical.
It is the realization that there is more than standard human life. Spiritual awakening conveys the feeling of having discovered something extremely valuable. This is something so valuable that perhaps no one else in this person’s environment has known before.
Awakening is the realization that one can come down from this life carousel, which is always the same as human life. Awakened people know that there is something that can be described with developed consciousness or divinity. They are determined to find out. They are willing to drop all the old rules, patterns and paradigms.
The earth needs awakened people
Basically there is a strong need here on earth for an expanded consciousness. The earth has an urgent need for awakened, conscious people. Otherwise their destruction and thus the loss of our whole basis of life is foreseeable.
How can I now reach this spiritual awakening, this enlightenment?
What is this secret? What is the formula behind it? Is it something that can only be obtained through certain behaviors, through certain thoughts, exercises and rituals, or even through diets?
There are certainly people who benefit a lot from one or the other behaviour or practice and these things can certainly get us a good deal on the way. Therefore, further topics will be discussed in this context. Basically, however, one will hardly be able to attain enlightenment with any kind of effort. It is more an attitude, a realization or even a grace than a doing.
So what do I need for spiritual awakening?
The key terms for this are trust and permission.
It requires a complete trust in the “I am”, which means the fully awakened consciousness, the true consciousness body. Only through unrestricted trust can enlightenment happen.
Enlightenment cannot be earned or earned and one does not have to have special intelligence for it. It simply happens when man allows it to happen, when he gives permission from the bottom of his heart or from the soul level. We cannot know what is ultimately decisive for the experience of enlightenment. It just happens – in a subtle but very profound way.
Conscious breathing and letting go
Deep, conscious breathing can be very helpful in this process. A complete inner release is also necessary. So no working on it but letting go. Basically enlightenment can be a completely natural state. The human mind cannot bring about awakening. It cannot conceive of it, or even shape it. One can also put it this way: spiritual awakening brings its own divine part into the body and also holds it there. People who seek this path have a deep desire to live here on this planet Earth and to be one with their divinity. Because through this the human being has all possibilities to shape his life freely and completely according to his own discretion and desires.
How can I do this?
This requires a strong stamina and the determination to follow one’s own heart.
If this succeeds, then ultimately our entire planet can change and become more human and beautiful. And this can only happen through our example. The more people who go this way, the greater the effect on our earth and on all other people. This is then the true transcendence and fulfillment.
An enlightened person can walk in his life as a real master. So he can enjoy his existence to the full.
Challenges and obstacles on the way to spiritual awakening.
The journey to spiritual awakening can be quite challenging. In our daily lives there are countless things that can distract us from this path. Dark days, difficulties and hardships can overshadow the path to enlightenment. The changes that come with this journey may also initially infuse us with tremendous fear. In particular, there may be a fear of being lost. There may also be a feeling of confusion.
Following the Heart
Just by following my heart, I can overcome these difficulties. In the full connection to my heart I cannot fail. The motto is: courageously follow the heart and thus go through the challenges.
Thus, in time, the goal, enlightenment, can come about. And then I can thank myself.
The level of the mind
Most people who have not yet developed their consciousness identify themselves completely with their mental processes and the emotions associated with them. They succumb to incessant compulsive thinking, whereby this stream of thoughts mostly consists of senseless repetitions.
The thoughts of my mind must now also be soothed in the process of spiritual awakening and recognized as pure thought processes.
The human mind is highly intelligent. But just this intelligence becomes a disturbing factor here.
The mind is an important and useful tool in our life. Humanity has developed the mind better and further in many thousands of years. It is the equipment to exist here in this three-dimensional world. We need it for all necessary tasks in our everyday life and for all intellectual disputes.
How does the mind work and what is the consequence of identifying with it?
The mind always tries to find the answers, it tries to become more and more intelligent in order to glorify itself. Our mind has gained the upper hand in our system. If it is the only thing we focus on, it becomes an instrument of power within ourselves. But it isolates us from other realities, also from our senses and feelings. In this way he prevents us from feeling and feeling.
The mind basically denies us the magnificence of life, because it focuses solely on itself, on intelligence. He does this until he goes mad in his quest for more intelligence to be smarter, faster and more powerful.
The mind must also let go
Therefore it is time for the mind of an awakened person to let go, so that the person can bring in consciousness in the first place. The more conscious we become, the more our mind must fear for its supremacy or it simply gives it up.
The connection with our heart
It is time for each one of us to reconnect with our true being. The mind cannot help us. It also has no intellectual ideas about it. We need a higher power, a power that has a greater love. For the spiritual life we need our heart.
Spiritual awakening is a process that is not mind things. Therefore it is also difficult to put this process into words. Because for communication we need the words after all. If we were telepathically inclined, then we could only exchange information about an inner feeling.
The mind literally tries to dissuade us from our path to enlightenment. It may tell us, “Who do you think you are? Are you out of your mind?”
Will we then become stupid as spiritually awakened people?
Not at all and on the contrary. There is a level of much higher intelligence and intuition than that of the mind. Eckart Tolle suggests that the transcendence of thought is already present in the newly awakened consciousness. In this way one gains the ability to rise above thinking and to discover a dimension in oneself that is infinitely more comprehensive than thinking. Pure thinking may make us smarter, but wisdom, joy, liveliness, love and creativity are lost.
